How I got started in UX
Ballerina turned corporate analyst - my path has always been one of storytelling, whether through movement or data. Like many in 2020, I needed to find a new way forward that best fit my strengths. What I found was that UX processes bring together all the things I love about collaboration and challenges and allows me to directly impact people in a positive way.
My design values
Digital products should never cause harm.

Research should be empathetic and intersectional.
Design should be accessible and equitable.
Data should be used responsibly.

Other problems I want to tackle?

-
Yearly, 6.5 million dogs, cats, and other former pets are abandoned or lost and enter the shelter systems -
-
How can I help connect people with resources they need to keep their pets, or find new forever homes for them?
-
-
Collector culture is contributing to the 350 million metric tons of plastic waste produced each year -
-
How can I help create spaces where pop-culture and toy collectors can work to reduce overconsumption and waste through freecycling or repurposing?
-
-
There's enough clothing on Earth right now to clothe the next 6 generations of humans, yet everyday millions of adults and children face clothing insecurity -
-
How can I help change systems used by non-profits to put clean and quality clothes in the hands of those that need them most?
